Craig F. knew for a number of years that he likely had a problem with alcohol, but it wasn’t until he hit his bottom that the gift of desperation made him finally seek the help he needed. Craig’s sobriety date is the day he checked himself into the residential program at Gateway Chicago West. He began his journey, finding freedom from drinking through complete surrender, honesty, open-mindedness, and the willingness to follow the example of those who had come before him.
