Unconscious Bias: Awareness, Impact, and Reflection | 2 CE Credits

 

Presented by The Gateway Training Institute, this foundational module introduces participants to the concept of unconscious bias, exploring how biases are formed, how they affect perceptions and decision-making, and the ways in which they show up in different settings including mental health work. Through reflection and discussion, participants will gain tools to identify their own biases and begin the journey of becoming more intentional and equitable in their professional interactions.

Presenter Dr. T.J. Niño brings over 20 years of experience as a consultant, lecturer, operations leader, and organizational strategist. She serves as Director of Training at Gateway Foundation, where she leads a data-driven learning strategy to strengthen professional growth across the organization.
