Join Gateway Lake Villa and members of the recovery community as well as its supporters for the 5K Race to End Overdose to benefit Lake County Opioid Initiative and Gateway’s Naloxone Distribution Program.
Since 2016, Gateway has been able to provide 275 doses of life-saving medication through its Naloxone Distribution Program to patients, families and members of Lake County. Additionally, Gateway has been able to support the Lake County Opioid Initiative in an effort to prevent opioid abuse, addiction, overdose and death. With the community’s help we are hoping to bring awareness to the worsening opioid epidemic in Lake County.
The race begins at 8:30 A.M. with a youth fun run following at 9:30 A.M. at Hastings Lake (21155 W. Gelden Road) in Lake Villa. Click here to register and learn more.
The price to run or walk in the 5K is $35 ($20 for Gateway Employees and $15 for the Youth Fun Run).
