COMMUNITY-BASED FUNDERS Gateway community-based programs are funded by more than 30 agencies. Our primary funders are:
Other important funders would include Treatment Alternatives for Safe Communities, the Illinois Department of Public Aid, The Illinois Department of Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, U.S. District Courts and several County Drug Courts. Gateway clinical staff uses the Patient Placement Criteria published by the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) to meet the needs of each client in residential and outpatient settings. Included are programs for women, adolescents and dual diagnosis clients.
