Gateway Chicago River North Opening

Staff and friends celebrated the Gateway Chicago River North opening with a ribbon cutting August 23. The new Gateway River North site is located at 415 N. Dearborn St., blocks from Merchandise Mart and Illinois Center and less than a 20-minute walk from Union Station and Ogilvie transportation centers to accommodate busy schedules with Outpatient care. The opening also marks Gateway’s 50th anniversary.

Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce Senior Vice President of Membership and Corporate Relations Jan Kostner, Gateway President, and CEO Tom Britton and Clinical Director of Chicago sites Gilbert Lichstein spoke, touching on the organization’s growth and innovations in treatment for substance use and co-occurring disorders.
